Overview
Students will research and assume roles as medical specialists through hands-on projects, research, reports, and presentations. Culminating activities will include creating a large display of human body systems which includes all related organs and their functions. Students will then share with the class through an oral presentation.
Objective
Students will be able to identify the organs in the human body and describe their functions, including the skin, brain, heart, lungs, stomach, liver, intestines, pancreas, muscles and skeleton, reproductive organs, kidneys, bladder, and sensory organs.
